Position Details:

 

Summary of Duties:

 

Lead temporary and full-time employees in the maintenance (routine and emergency) and repair of facilities in residential apartments, residence halls, and dining centers. Coordinate work with other trades and craftsmen in support of maintenance work, new or remodel construction, and utilize a working knowledge of several related skill fields such as plumbing, electrical, welding, carpentry, and mechanical work. Work with computerized maintenance management system and other software applications. Requires working outside of regular work schedule, as needed for emergencies. Operate motor vehicles as required.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• High school graduation and four years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction or repair work or completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a skilled mechanic trade and one year of journey-level experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction, or repair work or equivalent education/experience.

 

• Ability to respond to an emergency outside normal business hours.

 

• Must possess, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid Driver's License.

 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience with computerized maintenance management software.

 

• Trained in fall protection and or hazard protection.

Monthly Salary:

 

$5,117 - $5,929 | Range 50G (Steps G - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://https/app.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=357-28.
