Instruction & Classroom Support Technician Available Title(s): 255M-YNCSNPS - Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1, 255N-YNCSNPS - Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2, 255O-NNCSNPS - Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 3 Business Title: Instruction & Classroom Support Technician Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Assist with DVM professional student instructional laboratories within the Clinical Instructional Service area. Assist students during laboratories and surgeries and provide pre- and post-op care as needed. Order supplies and maintain equipment for laboratory use. May lead temporary employees. Candidates considered various levels and will be hired depending on experience. Required Qualifications: For Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1: • Six months of full-time experience/training in the appropriate discipline; OR equivalent education/experience. For Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2: • A Bachelor's Degree with major study in specific instructional area; or equivalent education/experience. For Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 3: • A Bachelor's Degree with major study in a basic applied science AND two years of full-time experience as an Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2; OR equivalent education/experience. Required for all Applicants: • Must pass WSU radiation safety training exam the first time it is available.
