The pool is continuously accepting applications to be reviewed throughout the academic year. This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions at the Lecturer, Teaching Assistant Professor-Career, or Adjunct Faculty level. Summary of Duties: Washington State University College of Nursing is currently recruiting for caring, committed nurses to work as full-time or part-time instructors in the nursing program on the Spokane and Yakima campuses. We are seeking candidates with clinical experience in all nursing specialties including: • Long Term Care • Medical Surgical • Pediatrics • Obstetrics • Psychiatric and • Community Health Nursing Required Qualifications: • A Master's Degree in Nursing or closely related field OR candidates currently enrolled in an approved Nursing Master's program may be eligible for hire. • Licensure or eligible for license as a registered nurse in the State of Washington. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience as an educator or preceptor. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. FTE: Variable Appointment Term: 9 months (typical schedule is during the academic year, August 16 - May 15) Tenure Track: No Continuous/Temporary: Temporary, renewable. Temporary End Date: Temporary positions are expected to end on May 15, 2025. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
