Robert Half Systems Administrator in Provo, Utah
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Provo, Utah. This role involves managing and maintaining a range of systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. The Systems Administrator will also play a key role in incident response and security coordination, working closely with other team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of various systems such as servers, storage, databases, and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with administrators, engineers, analysts, and partners to ensure security configurations align with industry standards
• Participate in the incident response team, promptly responding to and resolving service and security incidents
• Administer system updates and security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with security best practices
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring only authorized individuals have access to sensitive resources
• Monitor system metrics and logs, investigating anomalies and engaging security resources as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incidents, and generate reports as needed
• Provide training and support to staff on system operation and protection
• Work closely with key stakeholders within IT and other departments to understand requirements. Requirements
