Security Control Analyst ¾ Time

Brigham Young University is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Control Analyst (dispatch) to join our team on a part-time basis. As a vital member of our security operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, and staff. What qualifies you for this role:

Required

·       A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.

o   Associate's degree and two years of work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 

o   High school diploma or GED.

o   No felony convictions.

o   Ability to pass a background check, and successful completion of a pre-employment screening test.

o   Required certifications (to be obtained within six months of hire):

§  Utah POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Dispatch Certification.

§  PowerPhone Law

Preferred

·    Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, emergency management, homeland Security, or similar degree.

Pay Level: 50 Approximate Starting Salary: $23.75/hour to $31.00/hour (DOE)
