Position Summary
As a Clinical Outcomes Research Manager for CVS Health, you will play a crucial role in designing, executing, and delivering white papers and manuscripts that generate real-world evidence to support Healthspire Payor Solutions. Your job functions can span from conducting literature reviews to statistical analysis of data sets. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, have a publication background, and have ensured effective communication within and across teams. Strong data analysis skills and experience with healthcare claims databases are essential, along with a solid understanding of the US healthcare system and health economic outcomes research. Job Duties Include:
Design, review, and execute RWE and Economic Outcomes research projects, including protocol development and statistical analysis plans.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve research objectives.
Conduct literature reviews and synthesize evidence.
Perform independent statistical analyses and collaborate with data science teams for advanced evaluations.
Contribute to the drafting of white papers and manuscripts.
Support broader initiatives in clinical effectiveness and real-world evidence.
To be a candidate for this role you will possess the following:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of study design and analysis
Strong execution and delivery skills, including planning and support.
Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.
This is a remote role and candidates can live anywhere in the US, but it is preferred that the candidate lives in the Eastern Time Zone.
Required Qualifications
Experience/proficiency in biostatistics and statistical analysis (experience with SQL, R, Python, or SAS).
At least 2 years of experience analyzing healthcare claims databases.
Healthcare coding expertise (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, GPI).
Experience with publications such as manuscripts or white papers.
Preferred Qualifications
Peer-reviewed publications.
Health Economics Outcomes Research experience.
Experience with causal inference techniques.
Candidate lives in the Eastern Time Zone.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred in relevant field (biostatistics, economics, public health, computer science, epidemiology, clinical informatics or other quantitative discipline).
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
