Description
We are offering a role in the transportation and logistics industry! The role is for an Accounts Receivable Processor, who will be responsible for various tasks such as collections and payment posting, identifying and correcting billing issues, and customer interaction. This role involves coordinating with the staff and billing department and requires proficiency in various software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Handle collections and payment posting tasks diligently
• Identify, investigate and rectify issues in customer bills
• Maintain clear communication with clients via phone and email to resolve billing inquiries
• Coordinate with other staff members and the billing department to ensure smooth operations
• Use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data
• Conduct variance analysis and generate aging reports to monitor account status
• Keep track of customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status
• Perform administrative tasks as necessary to support the role
• Stay updated with the software "Load Master" to efficiently manage tasks
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Familiarity with Billing procedures and Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections and Commercial Collections
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transport industry environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements
