Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst in Princeton, New Jersey

Description

Robert Half has a consulting employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst based in Princeton, New Jersey. This role is within the financial industry and the successful candidate will be expected to handle a variety of tasks relating to budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes. This role will be consulting to start but has potential to be converted to a permanent position. Advanced Excel skills is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive budgeting activities to ensure financial stability and growth.

• Develop accurate financial forecasts to aid in strategic decision making.

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Prepare and record journal entries in line with accounting standards.

• Analyze Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and provide insights for financial decision-making.

• Perform various accounting functions, maintaining the integrity of financial data.

• Participate in budget processes, contributing to the formulation of financial strategies.

• Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios and outcomes.

• Communicate financial insights to stakeholders, supporting informed business decisions.

• Continually develop and refine financial analysis methods.

Requirements • Proven experience in a Sr. Financial Analyst role or similar capacity

• Proficiency in CapEx management and related financial analysis

• Thorough understanding and experience in executing accounting functions

• Demonstrated expertise in managing budget processes

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• High proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred

• Relevant certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
