Penn Medicine - Becker ENT & Allergy is a fast-growing, multi-specialty practice with several locations throughout the Philadelphia area and New Jersey providing exceptional care for all patients. We specialize in otolaryngology, audiology, facial plastic surgery, allergy, and speech-language pathology.We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Central Jersey team. We are a busy practice, so all Medical Receptionists are cross trained in clerical and clinical duties to maintain the flow of the clinics and support our specialists. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who performs well under pressure with strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and possesses the ability to work collaboratively with others. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a full- time position in a rapidly growing practice with room for advancement.Traveling to the different office locations is a requirement. We value your time, so we do our best to accommodate your schedule by placing staff in 2-4 locations that are closest in proximity.Medical Receptionist Duties (include but are not limited to):Greets patients and vendorsWorks well with others, takes initiative as see fitSchedules appointments for new and returning patientsMaintains up-to-date patient records in EMR systemChecks patients in and out in a timely mannerRooms patients, takes vital signs, and inputs information in EMR systemFollows daily routine aligning with opening and closing checklistsAnswers incoming calls regarding appointment scheduling or prior authorizations for imaging and medication refillsAssists in ensuring a clean and organize environment, such as keeping patient rooms fully stocked, reporting when low on office or medical suppliesJob Requirements:High School Diploma/GED (a degree in higher education is preferred)Minimum 1 year of medical receptionist experience or 4 years of customer service experienceExperience utilizing an EMR systemBasic computer knowledgeStrong time management and organizational skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsMaintains positive and well- mannered attitudeCriminal Background CheckValid Driver’s licenseAbility to work in various office locationsHas or will receive a flu vaccinationWillingness to meet NJ Executive Order 283, which requires all healthcare employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.What We Offer:Competitive salaryExcellent medical benefits401KPaid time offPaid holidaysProfessional development opportunities
