TEKsystems Medical Billing Specialist in Princeton, New Jersey

Description:

Medical Billing Specialist Responsibilities: • Resolve insurance denials. • Post insurance and patient payments. • Will follow up on any unpaid claims within standard billing time frames. • Will be responsible for calling any insurance companies regarding any discrepancies to payments. • All accounts will be reviewed for insurance or patient follow up as needed. • Review large outstanding patient balances. • Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided. • Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion. Medical Biller Requirements: ● A minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical biller or similar role. ● Reliable and dependable. ● Solid understanding of the medical billing process. ● Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. ● Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities. ● Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy - volume based on insurance company they are assigned to
