Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:  operation and maintenance of the culinary water distribution system and sewer collection system, operation of backhoe and dump truck, meter reading, line repair, sampling, trench work, lifting, janitorial work, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This position may require shift work, weekends, emergency calls, and holidays.  A general aptitude test and a physical agilities test will be given to the final applicants chosen.  The successful candidate will work toward achieving current Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Certifications, while also working to acquire a commercial driver's license with an "N" endorsement as these requirements effect future pay increases.  A complete physical and drug screen will be required of the chosen applicant prior to employment.
