Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Qualify group inquiries and book business in an effective timely manner.
Send proposals to outline options keeping open communication to support questions and concerns clients may have.
Enter all bookings and group meal functions in the property management system.
Generate contracts, set deposit due dates, release dates and rooming lists.
Obtain details of all events and food/beverage needs during the stay.
Create banquet event orders and provide detailed information to other department supervisors who will deliver the products and services.
Attend meetings with the Sales Representative to communicate the details of booked events. Provide information concerning changes to group bookings to the appropriate departments.
Act as on-site contact and liaison for the meeting planner. Introduce planner to the banquet manager prior to the event. Inspect room set-ups and special details.
Follow up with groups while in-house to ensure that program is successful and that expectations have been met. Expedite last minute requests that were possibly overlooked

Pay Details: $12.90 per hour
