Role: Quality and Customer Experience Assistant

Hours: 37.5. Hybrid working option available. Please discuss with hiring manager at interview.

Pay Rate: Competitive and negotiable. Please state your salary expectation when submitting your application.

Location: Pittman Way, Fulwood, Preston PR2 9ZD (must be able to regularly commute to this location)

Role Overview

In this busy and varied role, you will be working with the Quality and Customer Experience Manager to oversee quality and drive excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that products produced on site meet all quality criteria, i.e. in spec, labelling, visual presentation

  • Track trends on quality performance, customer complaints, defects, non-conformances and take appropriate corrective action. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and reduce level of site complaints

  • Ensure that the quality systems operate effectively in order to satisfy customers, that we meet all their requirements

  • Learn our supplies products and processes

  • Consult with customers, suppliers and colleagues at different Zebra locations

  • Develop understanding of various standards and systems at Zebra to participate in internal and external audits

  • Liaise with customer technical representatives and co-ordinate site visits

  • Implement appropriate trend analysis and other statistical and factual reporting to support quality improvement

  • Maintain an internal auditing system that will satisfy the changing requirements of our customers in a cost-effective manner

  • Ensure compliance with customer codes of practice, legislation and third-party standards

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in quality and /or customer experience desirable

  • Customer complaint handling

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal communication and social skills with experience of building trusted relationships, rapport and having a passion to help
