SW WI WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BRD Re-Entry Coach in PLATTEVILLE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB), located in Platteville, is seeking applications for a Re-Entry Coach. This position will be responsible for the delivery of pre-release services to individuals incarcerated at the Prairie du Chien Correctional Institution and Wisconsin Secure Program Facility and post-release services to those who are transferred from other correctional institutions around the state to SWWDB\'s rural counties of Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland under the Windows to Work Program. Additionally, this position may facilitate the enrollment of Pathways Home grant participants with other coaches around the state of Wisconsin. Job duties may include: facilitate the delivery of program curriculum, coordinate pre-release phone calls between the individual and their receiving coach, provide individualized career, support, and training services based on the individual needs of those who are transferred into SWWDB counties, document service provision into the data management system, and facilitate virtual enrollment meetings with coaches around the state. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A qualified individual must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate the delivery of services to develop the workforce in the region. Prior experience in case management is important; however, a solid commitment to the delivery of individualized assistance in a compassionate, collaborative, thorough and objective manner is key. A successful candidate will be able to meet all Department of Corrections pre-employment stipulations, including a successful background checks.
