Your Role and Responsibilities

Management of IT related projects:

  • implementation of HW/SW products

  • server consolidation projects

  • data migration projects

  • consulting and system integration project

Position summary and responsibilities:

Leads team on a project or a segment of a larger project. Works according to plans developed by the project manager OR translates those portions of customer requirements they are responsible for into plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results, or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.

Skills :

Environment :

Basic knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; Initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Basic knowledge of current Project Management methodologies. Demonstrates the required proficiency levels for skills defined at this position in the Kyndryl Skills Management System. Knowledge in business matters, finance, planning, forecasting and personnel in order to manage team staff and business issues.

Communications/negotiation:

Engaged as a professional to work with team members to articulate, compare, and implement solutions and alternative approaches based upon project management principles. Team members might include customer, supplier and Kyndryl staff. Clearly communicates team results to immediate management / project manager.

Problem solving:

Recognizes and articulates problems related to the project/segment of the project. Applies creativity and judgment in development of solutions or deliverable objectives. As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.

Contribution/leadership:

Works on and understands the objectives related to the project or segment of a larger project from a cost, schedule, technical and quality perspective. Decides own priorities and is able to recommend project tradeoffs. Understands department/project mission and applies this understanding in project activities. Displays proper use of PM tools to team members throughout the project life cycle.

Impact on business scope:

Accountable for meeting customer's requirements and obtain the results of the project segment, unit or deliverable assigned. Participates in or responsible for project planning. Identifies, estimates and presents cost, schedule, business and technical risk for project segment, unit or deliverable assigned. Interfaces directly with corresponding levels of customer's staff. Performs activities to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for their financial baseline and its impacts to the overall department and / or project costs and expenses.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

University Degree or equivalent based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Project management fundamentals or certification (PMI/PMP or equivalent)

  • Understanding of Service Delivery Processes

  • Up-to-date technical knowledge

  • Languages: Czech/Slovak, English
