We are seeking a Senior Manager for EMEA Vision Supply Chain to manage a Complex Program (Project ATLAS) to redesign the CEMMA (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Surgical Vision Ordering Process that relies on a network of strategic partner distributors to bring our portfolio of cataract and refractive surgical vision products to the customer. The current process is constrained by a very complex, restrictive and resource heavy order management and product allocation process.

Under the sponsorship of the CEEMA Commercial and EMEA Vision Supply Chain Leadership Team, we are initiating Project ATLAS to conduct a root and branch review of the end to end (forecast to dispatch) process in order to transform the distributor and employee experience over the next 12 plus months.

Reporting to the EMEA Vision Supply Chain Leadership, the Project ATLAS leader will assemble and lead a cross-functional team through this transformation, ensuring that a robust and repeatable process is embedded in order to fuel further growth in the region.

Job Scope

The role will cover all aspects of Program Management including:

  • Establishment of a cross-functional team from Supply Chain and Commercial organizations

  • Mapping of current process and systems involving Deliver and Plan CoE subject matter experts

  • Development and implementation of improved processes and system upgrades that will transform the distributor ordering process for CEMMA markets.

  • Management of the program within agreed objectives and timelines

  • Provision of regular updates to sponsors and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall transformational program.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver key objectives of Project ATLAS

  • Ensure key objectives are delivered in-line with agreed scope and objectives of the program.

  • Ensure new processes, roles and responsibilities are clearly understood and documented.

  • Prepare, and present regular updates on program progress against critical milestones.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Essential:

  • University Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Master or MBA is preferred.

  • Experience with SAP and Customer Service Systems.

  • Min 8 years of business experience with 5 years’ experience in Planning, Customer Service or Deliver.

  • Medical device or Consumer industry experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to make the complex simple.

Desirable:

  • Experience in leading Supply Chain or Commercial transformation programs.

  • Experience of working in organizations employing Distributor models

  • Experience of facilitating and guiding process mapping events, creating robust documentation, and shaping outcomes with diverse stakeholders.

Skills

  • Project management & process excellence experience, ideally using FPX and Lean Six Sigma tools.

  • Strong continuous improvement and change management mindset and skillset.

  • Ability to develop, coach and guide teams.

  • Ability to forge collaboration across all levels of the organization and externally.

  • Strong communicator with ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written and oral forms.

  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to drive and apply continuous improvement tools to large and complex projects.

  • Strong business acumen, understanding the business, portfolio, markets, customers, challenges and demands.

  • Good understanding of financial flows and associated product flows

  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of best practices and benchmarks.

  • Strong analytically skills

Location

  • This role will be based within the EMEA Region

  • Role will require approx. 10-20% travel.
