The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation and execution of Development and Certification tests of Turboprop engine
Responsible for meeting all established quality and delivery commitments.
Ensure communication of key business / customer issues to the team.
Provide team leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, production, and compliance.
Following engine technical specification and requirements to perform aircraft engine test.
Prepare test plan based on instrumentation requirements and test mission.
Create and document test plan for test platform subcomponent (e.g., DAQ, fixturing, instrumentation, EHS).
Observe the execution of a test, monitor test data, author a daily report on the test status.
Participate/ facilitate post-test review, preparing presentations.
Support and assist the people involved in engine test.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or Technical High School Diploma with strong experience) or equivalent
Knowledge of aircraft engines
Ability to read engineering drawings and specification
Proven Leadership experience
Knowledge of Project management
Fluent English
