We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our FMS CLS Netherlands team. The function of the Netherlands Sustainment Project Manager is to support the Program Manager and other Project Managers in planning and execution of program elements. This position is responsible for monitoring, managing, and coordinating cross-functional projects by sharing information and resolving problems to meet objectives. This role is expected to create plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure project(s) are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager will also help develop proposals to support the program.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Netherlands CLS Program Manager on projects and contract proposals requested by the customer.

  • Collaborate and assist with development of project plans and manage resources to ensure project or proposal cost, schedule, and performance (quality) are achieved to meet commitments.

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and present results to the project management team and/or management.

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels concerning projects.

  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities on the program and expansion of existing business opportunities.

  • Prepare documentation, reports, and PowerPoint presentations to support program reviews and contract deliverables (i.e. labor charge, CDRLs, internal GATE reviews, external Program Management Reviews, and working group meetings).

  • Responsible for capturing and presenting conference minutes and action items during customer meetings.

  • Administer and execute policies, processes, and procedures that impact the assigned project.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.

  • Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet program commitments and customer objectives.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Ensure work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s in business administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

  • Must have a thorough understanding of project management process and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to include strong knowledge of proper grammar, clear and concise expression of concepts, and public speaking skills.

  • Experience leading meetings is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio. Knowledge of statistical techniques and software IE: MiniTab is preferred.

  • Must be an expert in the SAP Material Resource and Planning (MRP) system.

  • Strong leadership skills, independent and unbiased, capable of quickly gaining trust and loyalty and inspiring/coaching others toward achievements, while developing positive and effective working relationships with superiors, subordinates, peers, customers, and others.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, influence and collaborate at the leadership level.

  • Strong problem-solving and excel skill in analyzing relevant and essential facts.

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a quick changing environment.

  • Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new products and/or services.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to team members working on assigned project.

  • Familiarity with GA Finance processes is preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
