Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Poway, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate account records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the AP Inbox and promptly respond to vendor inquiries.

• Accurately enter service-related and freight invoices into the accounting system.

• Perform 2-way and 3-way match for invoice processing.

• Review expense reports using Certify Software and forward them for entry into Paylocity.

• Prepare weekly check runs, obtain CFO approval, and upload into the system.

• Utilize your skills in Account Coding and Accounting Software Systems for efficient processing.

• Be responsible for posting to customer accounts.

• Prepare ACH for payments and issue checks to vendors when necessary.

• Maintain a steady line of communication with 50-80 vendors per week.

• Use your knowledge of Accrual Accounting and Auditing to ensure accurate financial records. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Must be adept with Concur.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.

• Proficient understanding of Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is needed.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is crucial.

• Auditing skills are necessary.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
