Job Details:
- Position: Machine Operator
- *Pay Rate: *$18.00 - $19.50 per hour.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00am-7:00pm *OR *7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with variation between 3 days one week and 4 days the next.
Job Responsibilities & Description:
- Operating department equipment to manufacture various products (such as printed material, envelopes, plastics, or mail pieces) in compliance with customer specifications and standard operating procedures.
- Conducting quality checks, packaging, and moving finished products.
Setting up machines, completing computerized and paper documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and writing basic English.
- At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills are desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality control principles.
- Prior experience with lean manufacturing and/or quality control training is advantageous.
Participation in safety teams or relevant safety training is a plus.
