North Manheim Township Full-Time Road Crew Position in Pottsville, Pennsylvania
North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, PA, is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Road Crewperson.
In addition to the Duties & Responsibilities listed below, a Class A Commercial License is preferred. Applicant(s) must also be able to lift 70 pounds, work in adverse weather conditions and overtime when required. In addition, an applicant(s) must pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug and alcohol testing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Operate township equipment and vehicles (as allowed by license class); maintenance and repair of all township equipment, vehicles, tools, municipal buildings and grounds, operating supplies; construction, paving and maintenance within township road rights-of ways including guide rail repair and replacement, cleaning and maintaining streets, gutters, storm sewers and drains, mowing and brush control, snow and ice removal, installation and maintenance of signs; and any other work deemed necessary by the Roadmaster.
