SUNY Potsdam Senior Staff Associate in Potsdam, New York
The School of Education and Professional Studies at SUNY Potsdam is accepting on-line applications for a full-time (10 month) Director for the Rebecca V. Sheard Literacy Center. Reporting directly to the Dean, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative oversight for the Literacy Center, the Thomas E. O’Shaughnessy Assistive Technology Center, and the Math and Science Center; provide oversight of the Center’s after-school programs; lead the Center’s administrative assessment efforts; administer the Center’s budget; and support the Center’s fundraising efforts and donor relations. This is an on-campus position and incumbent may also be required to work evenings and/or weekends, specifically in support of the Center’s community-based programming. Required qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution, experience working in PK-12 settings, experience working with and/or teaching post-secondary students, and demonstrated competence in educational technologies.
