GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Carl Albert State College has an opening for an Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) Academic Advisor. This is a full-time position based at the Poteau campus. The Educational Opportunity Center is a Federally-funded TRiO program designed to assist disadvantaged adults to enter post-secondary education. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist adults in entering or continuing in a program of post-secondary education
- Assist with financial aid, post-secondary admissions, and major/career exploration
- Conduct academic/career counseling
- Provide financial literacy
- Conduct workshops designed to meet the purpose of EOC programs
