Come work in our brand new commercial distribution kitchen with a team of energetic, vibrant, and happy people! Steady pace, no nights or weekend and guaranteed 40 hours per week for full-time, variable/flexible hours for part-time.

Essential Functions:

Prepare food according to Master Recipe Book for the current season, willing to work every station of operations: prep, cook in Combi oven, assemble trays, food sealing in Modified Atmosphere Packing equipment (will train) and boxing orders. Follow proper procedures in accordance to Panhandle Health and work as a team player.

Perform routine kitchen tasks while following prep lists; label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible; prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat and other necessary prep functions; set up workstations and ingredients so that meals can be prepared according to the recipes; basic cooking duties; maintain clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces and assisting with trash duties, ensure food and other items are stored and labeled properly; complying with health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

Quality Assurance: Reports any discrepancies in recipe procedures, ingredients, yields or measurements to supervisor so the recipes can be corrected.

Other Function and Duties:

Demonstrates Copow service standards and ethic principles with staff.

Skill Set:

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, good knife skills, organizational skills, manual dexterity, communication skills, attention to detail, must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time.

Able to read, write and understand english, able to accept directives

Able to work independently. Multitasker, sufficient at time management

Able to read and understand recipes, able to understand basic cooking skills.

Works well with others, has a high level of integrity as well as a team player

Able to help out with closing duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: \$17.00 - \$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 40 per week
