Fedcap Program Coordinator in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

JOB PURPOSE

The Program Coordinator works in conjunction with the Program Director in supporting the day-to-day operations of the center, working on meeting grant and other funder requirements.

JOB SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator will support administrative and reporting requirements along with coordinating various program requirements. This position will also take the lead on outreach to specific target populations and work with community partners to ensure efficient and timely support to meet the needs of each participant, as well as providing some direct service and recovery support directly to individual participants. Ideal candidates will have experience in program coordination and administrative responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • If not already a CRSW (Certified Recovery Support Worker), achieving credentialing within 6 months of hire.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities, if CRSW is credentialed, Granite Pathways will support ongoing planning for credentialing renewal.

  • Knowledge and understanding of CRSW credentialing and renewal process.

  • Implement concepts presented in orientation and training within the role of Program Coordinator.

  • High-level technological skills for implementing, operating, and managing data entry into case management systems, and excel.

  • Assist the Program Director with assigned tasks to support Safe Harbor functions and grant and contract management.

  • Develop and implement targeted communication strategies and tools for Safe Harbor programming including utilization of multiple social media platforms.

  • Maintain reporting tracking and spreadsheet maintenance.

  • Exhibit qualities of dependability, empathy, genuineness, and respect, and maintain a positive and supportive attitude.

Education

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience

Job Experience

  • CRSW credentials are preferred.

  • Close familiarity with the local recovery community.

  • Direct or indirect lived experience with Substance Use Disorder, Mental Health Services

  • A means of transportation

Certifications

CRSW credentials are preferred.

Software Skills

MS Office intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and Office 365.

Work Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Special Schedule

This is a full-time 40-hour-a-week position, and the hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as needed.

Travel is primarily local during the business day.

Languages: Spanish and Portuguese proficiency/fluency preferred

Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Work Conditions: Work is typically performed in an office environment but may be required to perform job duties outside of the office setting.

Special Schedule: Normal schedule is standard business hours Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm; with occasional evenings and weekends as per programmatic needs.

Travel Demand: Occasional travel may be required as needed to present the program to schools and community-based organizations as well as funder meetings.

Job Experience: Two (2) years experience providing vocational assessment services, workforce development, or job development services for people with disabilities. Experience working with youth or young adults is preferable.

  • CRSW credentials are preferred.

STATUS: Full-Time. Regular, Exempt, Wage/Salary: $20 to $22 ph
