Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $40 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 40+ hours
Mix and prepare cement, bricks, and mortar for structures
Cut and shape materials until they meet the jobs specifications
Assist in the creation of chimneys, walls, frames, walkways, and other structures
Interpret blueprints
Do your part to maintain tools and workspaces
Lift and carry bricks, concrete blocks, and stones from place to place
Qualifications:
OSHA-10 Completion of a mason apprenticeship or previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Physical ability to perform manual labor for most of the day
Familiarity with commonly-used mason techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the commercial field required
Prior experience using hand tools required
Position may require a drug screen
