Kuehne+Nagel Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) in Porto, Portugal

Your Role

Your Responsibilities
Work closely with the customers, business, and product team to review requirements and technical outlines of feature(s) to provide timely and meaningful feedback in a cross-functional, self-organized agile team;
Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to identify software problems;
Apply testing processes for new and existing features;
Design, develop, and execute automated test cases;
Track quality assurance metrics;
Detailed error analysis (server log files, database);
Stay up to date with new testing tools, test strategies, and methodologies;
Support user acceptance assessments when needed.
Your Skills and Experiences
Extensive experience in techniques to analyze and derive test plans and test cases from functional and non-functional requirements;
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools (Cypress and/or Playwright experience preferred), and processes;
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases , and defect descriptions;
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools;
Solid knowledge of scripting;
Degree in technical engineering or comparable qualifications/experience (ISTQB or related certification is a plus);
"Can do" attitude and open mindset;
Fluent in English.
