Kuehne+Nagel Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) in Porto, Portugal

Your Role

We seek a mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our agile and international team. In this role, your contribution will help us achieve a high-quality continuous delivery process. You will be part of our exciting transformation journey, continuously growing with us, and innovating our products and processes and how our solution works.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the customers, business, and product team to review requirements and technical outlines of feature(s) to provide timely and meaningful feedback in a cross-functional, self-organized agile team.

  • Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to identify software problems.

  • Apply testing processes for new and existing features.

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases.

  • Track quality assurance metrics.

  • Stay up to date with new testing tools, test strategies, and methodologies.

  • Support user acceptance assessments when needed.

  • Contribute to the team's quality assurance skills growth, acting as a lighthouse in the QA discipline.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Extensive experience in techniques to analyze and derive test plans and test cases from functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies.

  • Experience with QA automation tools like Cypress and/or Playwright is a plus.

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect descriptions.

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

  • Degree in technical engineering or comparable qualifications/experience (ISTQB or related certification is a plus);

  • "Can do" attitude and open mindset.

  • Fluent in English.
