Planisware Configuration and Management Administrator

Role Purpose
GKN Automotive is seeking a Planisware Administrator, responsible for configuring, exploring and managing our Project Portfolio Management “Planisware” application. She/he will be a new member of an existing IT Application Management Services dynamic team. This role is crucial to deliver the expected support from our business functions (i.e. Engineering, Program Management).
Accountable for working closely with business analysts or directly with the business to ensure requirements are clear and well understood. Also needs to conduct their own unit tests and ensure their code meets any performance and security standards. Efficient coordination with Planisware SaaS team is also required.
Key Responsibilities
Configure Planisware software to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with Planisware SaaS team to ensure system integrity and performance.
Work closely with the Senior Business Analyst to understand and implement new functional requirements.
Perform regular system audits and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
Provide training and support to end-users.
Support PLW Admin to Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Planisware.
Stay updated with the latest Planisware features and best practices.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills
Proven experience with Planisware configuration and management.
Strong understanding of project management principles.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation.
Experience with system integration and data migration is a plus.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Strong data analysis skills to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. (English)
Experience in providing training and support to end-users.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Professional Attributes:
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to document processes clearly.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant Planisware certifications is a plus.
Language Skills: Good English language – both verbal and written
