Job Summary
Manage training development and process documentation activities.
Primary Duties
Identify future training needs and research new training methods, processes, and materials to enhance Contributor knowledge.
Create best practice curriculums between sites to facilitate improved customer quality.
Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks using current and future Process Documentation aids.
Design and manage internal document control systems for process accuracy.
Develop and maintain a compliance and performance tracking system for all Light Duty Distribution Centers and the contributors assigned to each site.
Maintain reporting structures to site leadership to inform them of training accuracy.
Analyzing existing systems and identify areas of continuous improvement opportunity through various data collection processes.
Ensure process changes are documented and contributors are current in all new process and process changes.
Ensure contributors are properly trained in proper operation of equipment.
Assist as needed with new hire requirements.
Perform System audits to ensure compliance to established procedures
Travel to other sites as required
Qualifications
Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods
Excellent leadership and motivational skills
Enhanced database and computer skills
Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
Good collaboration and teambuilding skills.
Previous supervisory skills and experience required.
Knowledge of competency-based training assessment tools
Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
Working Conditions: Typical of office work; however, while performing the duties of this job, the contributor may be required to reach, swivel, and carry items from one place to another. Environment may be dictated by ambient temperatures. The noise level is usually moderate.
Travel Time: Up to 25%
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or HS Diploma with adequate related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
