Salary Range: $41,000-$50,000 annually, depending on experience.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tools, equipment, and other materials to project sites in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho as necessary. This involves operating:

  • 1-3 ton flatbed pickup trucks

  • ¾ ton pickup trucks with lumber racks

  • Box vans

  • Other vehicles that do not require a CDL to operate

  • Load, unload, and move inbound and outbound materials in preparation for delivery to project sites.

  • Identify issues and efficiencies to help improve the delivery process.

  • Load and unload trucks including:

  • Palletized tools, equipment, and inventory

  • Equipment, and other motorized vehicles

  • General warehouse support, including:

  • Shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, pulling orders, stocking, organization, documentation and inventory control.

  • Assist with routine and preventative maintenance on small engines and outdoor power equipment.

  • Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.

  • Assist with inventory management by maintaining an organized workspace and tracking the use and location of tools, parts, and supplies.

  • Support the upkeep and maintenance of workspace, shop, and facilities.

  • Follows all safety policies and procedures

  • Must be capable of maintaining good status with authorized driver program - annual driving record review.

  • Performs other job-related duties in alignment with position as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, Responsibilities:

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:

  • Professional experience in a warehouse, or equipment yard, setting required.

  • Professional delivery experience preferred

Position Related Skills

  • Current certification or the ability to become forklift-certified

  • Training and certification available

  • Current certification or the ability to become Aerial Lift certified;

  • Training and certification available

  • Current rigging signaling certification, or the ability to become certified

  • Training and certification available

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Must have a current DOT medical card or have the ability to get one.

  • Basic computer skills as demonstrated by knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office 365 is preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of being stationary and moving about the work location. Up to 75% of the workday is spent outdoors navigating construction sites.

  • Must be able to climb ladders/stairs: Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work in confined spaces.

  • Hands/Arms: Constantly uses machinery and other tools to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, and position materials.

  • Sight: Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment. Must be able to; visually inspect work, look for small defects, and small parts, and/or operate machines (including inspection); use measurement devices; and/or assemble or fabricate parts. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license.

  • Hearing: sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment 

  • Speech: sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio. 

  • Lift/Carry: Must have the ability to lift or manipulate 25 pounds and carry or push it 50-100 Feet.

  • Bending/Twisting: Regularly

  • Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Regularly

  • Constant mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail required.

  • Must be able to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on all assignments.

  • Must be able to plan and organize work.
