Robert Half SEC Reporting Analyst in Portland, Oregon
Description We are in search of a SEC Reporting Analyst to join our team located in Portland, Oregon. This role is pivotal in the financial industry as it requires a keen understanding of GAAP accounting, SEC Reporting, and NetSuite. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of SEC reports and technical accounting analysis
• Support in Compensation and Benefits reporting
• Handle GAAP accounting operations and reporting
• Utilize NetSuite and Workiva for financial operations and reporting
• Exhibit strong communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders
• Perform duties with a proactive approach and the ability to adapt quickly to changes
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Work independently as an individual contributor in a public company setting
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards in all financial reporting procedures. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC Reporting
• Proficiency in Compensation & Benefits
• Extensive experience with NetSuite
• Proficiency in Workiva
• Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting
• Proficiency in US GAAP
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
• Previous experience in a public accounting firm is a plus
• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and review
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
