Location: SE Portland

Compensation: $19.47 - $21.63 hourly

    Who You Are:

    The Beacon Resident Services Specialist (RSS) is a part of CCO's resident services team and will be responsible for greeting residents and building visitors and directing them to the appropriate staff.

    What You Will Work On:

  • Greet residents and building visitors and direct as needed to the appropriate areas.

  • Foster and promote positive relationships with residents; act as an approachable and engaging on-site presence.

  • Answer resident inquiries and provide information and updates to staff.

  • Handle and deliver mail to staff and residents as needed.

  • Assist residents in completing forms such as maintenance requests and resident reports.

  • Maintain a log of events such as resident interactions, deliveries and other relevant events that occur in the community.

    • Assist new residents with move in and orientation with the community.

    What You Bring:

    Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent lived and/or worked experience required.

    Experience Requirements/Preferences

  • At least one year experience working with and demonstrated understanding of unique challenges for vulnerable adults including those experiencing homelessness, trauma, mental illness, addictions, and chronic medical needs.

  • Ability to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English preferred.

  • Certification (or ability to certify within 30 days of hire) and ability to maintain certification in CPR, 1st Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens and Narcan Training.

  • Lived experience or experience working with low-income families and individuals.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
