WorkSource Oregon Project Architect in Portland, Oregon

Description We seek collaborative and creative project architects who share our values and commitment to serve our community, foster belonging, and contribute to a sustainable future. We currently have hybrid positions open at our offices in Portland, OR. Typical Responsibilities Leading the architectural design process from programming and conceptual design through permitting and construction Conducting thorough zoning and code reviews and lead project regulatory approvals Organizing, preparing, and presenting design concepts and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders Leading and collaborating with project team members and consultants Actively contribute to mentorship, office culture, initiatives, and learning programs Preferred Qualifications Architectural license LEED or Living Future accreditation preferred Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite Demonstrated ability to successfully lead the development of construction documents, including technical details Demonstrated experience navigating code and permitting processes Advanced design, visual, and graphic presentation skills including hand sketching Prior experience through all phases of a project from programming to construction Demonstrated experience working effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable design through prior project work Ten or more years of experience in a professional architecture practice To Apply For consideration, please submit cover letter, resume, and work samples in PDF format and limit file size to 5MB.
