Description
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for a full-time position. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, a friendly disposition, and a customer service-oriented personality as they will be the first point of contact for patients. This role is crucial to making patients feel comfortable and well-cared for in our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
Verify and update necessary information in patients’ files
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
Retrieve and relay messages from answering service
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Assist with billing process and insurance claims
Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent. Additional certification in healthcare administration is an advantage.
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience with healthcare systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for details.
