Marketing Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. This role focuses on proposal writing and pursuits, and involves performing interview preparations and client qualification meetings. This position requires a high level of communication skills and the ability to provide feedback across all levels within the company. The role is expected to be held for a minimum of 3-4 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and manage proposals for various projects.

  • Prepare and conduct interview preparations.

  • Meet with clients to determine suitability for collaboration.

  • Communicate effectively and provide feedback across all levels within the company.

Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional services marketing experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing, or English.

  • Must have experience leading proposal writing in the last 3-4 years, preferably in Architecture, General Contractor, or Construction.

  • Proficiency with layout InDesign software.

  • In-office presence 4 days a week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with InDesign or similar layout software.

  • Experience leading interview preparations.

  • Experience with proposal layouts.

  • Management experience, including managing direct reports.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work environment with 4 days in-office and 1 day working from home. The office is located in downtown Portland, OR, and the work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility for start times.
