Aerotek Maintenance Technician in PORTLAND, Oregon

Maintenance Technician

Paying $25 / HR to $27 / HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment throughout the facility.

  • Complete daily repairs, maintenance, and functional improvement of manufacturing machinery

  • Rebuild machinery and equipment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Assist with fabrication of mechanical parts and equipment installation or relocation.

  • Ensure facility and campus grounds are well maintained.

  • Document information related to work assignments, tasks, and departmental procedures.

  • Follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations; includes wearing all proper PPE, following LOTO procedures.

  • Monitor maintenance parts and supply inventory. and communicate needs to facilities manager.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance required.

Environment/ Shift:

  • Light industrial work environment.

  • Production machinery, chemicals processing equipment, assembly booths, and paint lines including ovens and booths.

  • Clean and organized work environment.

  • Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.
