The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for the Pest management and Master Sanitation programs. Ensuring that our programs are compliant with corporate QP's and Sanitation policies. The candidate must be involved in troubleshooting and problem solving in concert with Operations and Quality departments to prevent faulty product, consumer complaints, and sanitary design issues. The Sanitation Lead will develop and implement strategies that will ensure that the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment are available to perform sanitation tasks effectively.

You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.

Primary responsibilities of the position

  • The Leads the EHS department, including but not limited to, performance management, coaching, and employee development.

  • Creates a safe working environment for personnel working in sanitation by working with chemical supplier to provide chemical handling training with enhancement of chemical training specific to the needs of the factory. Ensures chemical storage and handling meets all requirements of Mondelez Environmental, Health, and Safety program.

  • Tracks and coordinates PIC/PEC activities for the factory. Maintains and reviews Master Sanitation Schedule annually.

  • Acting Site Coordinator for Pest Control. Escalates, investigates, and implements corrective actions when pest sightings exceed thresholds. Reviews all pest control documentation and provides guidance and coaching to site PCO and representatives from third-party vendor.

  • Acts as a technical liaison between factory personnel, sanitation chemical supplier, Corporate Sanitation, and third party sanitation provider.

  • Ensures compliance with the Global Cleaning and Sanitation Manual, Pest Control and Hygienic Design Standard.

  • Manages outside contractors for cleaning, EHS supplies, and uniforms.

  • Investigates PEM and Non-PEM results that are outside acceptable ranges.

  • Partners with business leaders on implementation of process improvement (IL6S/SMED, including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation).

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)

  • Bachelor degree in Science/ Food Sanitation (preferred)

Schedule:

  • !2 days on, 2 days off(starting 5:30am- to 2:30pm )

Salary Range:

  • $73K to $85K
