Position Summary

The marketing event coordinator is responsible for the setup, execution, break down and evaluation of events that promote Martin’s Point Health Care. The Marketing Event Coordinator will be representing Martin’s Point in a positive high energy way and interacting with potential and existing customers. They will also be executing event activities such as giveaways, distribution of informational collateral and other table activities (games/etc).

Job Description

Key Outcomes:

  • Supports with identification and scheduling of target events.

  • Attends events such as conferences, community activities, partner meetings etc.

  • Determines the appropriate timing required to travel to/from, set up and execute the event.

  • Prepares and orders materials (as needed) for events based on the schedule and anticipated attendance levels

  • Transports the event materials to/from events and ensuring it is maintained.

  • Gathers customer contact information related to our specific products and ensure handoff to responsible MPHC parties.

  • Recaps key event details in a timely manner.

    Education/Experience:

  • One year experience in event management or marketing preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience in an office setting.

Required License(s) and/or Certification(s):

  • Valid driver’s license

Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

  • Demonstrates an understanding of and alignment with Martin’s Point Values.

  • Skills in MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).

  • Proficiency with the Internet and Intranets.

  • Strong organizational skills (ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining focus on organization objectives).

  • Ability to take direction from multiple individuals and prioritize tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to function independently.

  • Takes appropriate initiative while soliciting input/advice appropriately.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.
