Summary:

RED Technologies, LLC is seeking a self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented laborer to assist in the Heavy Highway and Environmental divisions. Construction and Environmental is preferred but not necessary. Assist operating field staff, work on a variety of projects including site work, road work, developments, and environmental/remediation projects. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. This position is expected to work eight (8) hours a day Monday through Friday. Must have strong oral and written communication skills, excellent time management, and show professionalism in all work settings.

Duties and Responsibilities

include the following.

1.

Provide day to day up-keeping of work areas.

2.

Field site work includes pipe laying for utilities and drainage, moving of construction equipment, concrete flatwork, backfilling, compacting, minor landscaping, etc.

3.

Ability to move heavy objects, including lifting up to 75 pounds.

4.

Ability to work in a team setting but also individual setting.

5.

Performs other tasks, as needed, to support daily operations and growth of the company.

6.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Ability to follow direction as provided by supervisor. Good physical condition and endurance. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from foreman and project manager. Ability to problem solve and ask for help as needed.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma; zero to two years related experience and/or training within the construction and/or environmental industry or similar role.
