Stryker IT Sr. Delivery Lead, Program Operations (Hybrid or Onsite) in Portage, Michigan

The Sr. Delivery Lead, Program Engagement is responsible for managing the engagement process with Stryker’s strategic partners in the Global Application Delivery group.
The Sr. Lead is responsible for the process of overseeing the evaluation and selection of solution integration partners for the delivery of capabilities as part of Solution Delivery activities within programs/projects.
The Sr. Lead is responsible for driving the proper completion and authoring of Solution Delivery scope, requirements, deliverables, entrance/exit criteria and milestones for strategic partner contracts.
What you will do:
Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
Responsible for maintaining active relationships with Stryker strategic vendors aligned to Solution Delivery, including regular meeting cadences to review current engagements, risks and concerns.
Provide guidance and leadership within the Solution Delivery team on partner issues and escalations.
Working with Solution Delivery Leads and PMs, ensure that program/project deliverables and milestones are aligned to SOW timelines and budgets.
In collaboration with Portfolio Managers and Solution Delivery Leads, provide direction and strategy on the use of external partners for current and future IT portfolio activities.
Work with the IT SIAM team and Build Leads to identify strategic partners within each of the Build areas.
Regularly evaluate the efficiency of processes and procedures according to objectives and apply improvements.
Manage and coordinate with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics.
Ensures timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure a smooth deployment process.
Partners with the IT Governance team to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation.
Develop and build robust integration with IT SIAM, Finance and Procurement teams.
Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and capturing in RFP/SOW templates for use in vendor engagement.
Provide guidance and mentoring to other Delivery Leads, Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program.
Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.
Special projects/assignments as required.
What you need
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical field of study is required.
Master’s Degree in a Technical field is preferred
Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience is required
Strong commercial awareness and acumen in dealing with vendors
Understanding and knowledge of enterprise systems and processes
Extensive knowledge of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IS requirements is preferred
Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications
International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions is preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management is required
Must be able to generate, explain, and present detailed schedules, objectives, reports, and other documentation accurately
Experience developing strategic business process methodologies to drive collaboration and business results
Demonstrated understanding of business-wide needs and processes and ability to work strategically with multiple facets of a global business
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills is required
Strong knowledge of Excel Advanced, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Access DB, MS Project Suite (MPP/Visio/etc.). is required
Demonstrated strong communication and influencing skills – oral, written, listening, executive presentations
Demonstrated ability to guide the business towards optimal solutions
Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies
Hybrid or Onsite – Role requires reasonable proximity to a Stryker facility and provides the flexibility to decide on either a hybrid or onsite working arrangement. Selected candidate would be hired in as one of these options.
