Shine Micro, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Assembler to work in a fast-paced team environment at our Port Ludlow office; located on the Olympic Peninsula between Kingston and Port Townsend. The job involves assembling printed circuit boards, cables, electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems using a variety of materials, tools and documentation. Experience working under ISO9001 and AS9100 or similar working practices and procedures is highly desirable. On-the-job training is provided and this position has the potential for growth. Essential Duties • Assemble surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC standards with various soldering tools, including under a microscope • Assemble PCBAs into sub-assemblies and systems • Follow documented assembly and work procedures • Remove and replace SMT and through-hole electronic components • Follow ISO 9001 quality system and common industry workmanship standards • Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all times • Perform job in accordance with proper material handling procedures and guidelines • Other duties as assigned • Overtime may be occasionally required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year soldering experience preferred • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and bills of material • Electronic component identification skills • Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel • Good written and verbal communication skills • Positive attitude, motivation and ability to learn new processes • Detail oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks, good time management, team player Additional Knowledge and Skills (Desired, not required) • Lean Manufacturing -- Continuous Improvement • Advanced soldering certificates or equivalent experience • Ham Radio License Potential Growth Opportunities • RF Test Technician • Build and rework prototypes for Engineering • Shipping and Receiving • Incoming Inspection • Creation and Organization of Production Records and Process Documentation • Inventory Management Shine Micro is an equal opportunity employer.
