Summary You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the WEAPONS SYSTEM DIVISION, SHIP DEFENSE/EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will be the point of contact and provide team Lead support for Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) systems across all classes of ships programmed for RAM installations, modernization, or back-fit during scheduled maintenance availabilities. You will provide leadership in the areas of training development, coordination, project planning, and assists with budget management. You will coordinate requirements, serve as the liaison for project management and assists in overall modernization and installation requirements. You will lead the successful execution of assigned projects to include assessments, installations and modernization of RAM systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating technical electronics methods, techniques, procedures, or policies on the modifications, validity, test procedures and data of new or modified ship combat or weapons systems.
