The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the Liberty Aviation Museum buildings.  Responsibilities and scheduling will vary based on museum priorities and will be impacted by the seasonal nature of our business.  Weekend hours may be required of all Liberty Aviation Museum associates.  A partial list of responsibilities follows:  Responsible for routine cleaning and replenishment of supplies for rest rooms, lobby and other areas of the museum facility Routine maintenance of equipment used such as vacuum cleaners and scrubbers Following cleaning checklist for servicing each area Snow removal, and ice control to maintain safe conditions for visitors and staff Assist with set up and tear down special events Advice management when cleaning products or other supplies need to be reordered Ensure building security while working, checking to be sure all doors and secured before leaving  Be aware of location and familiar with operation of fire extinguishers, AED, First Aid, and other safety equipment Other activities as directed by Museum Management Flexible schedule Compensation based on experience
