Electrical Engineers
Instrument Engineering: Provides technical expertise for specification, design, purchase & commission of process instruments. Designs instrumented systems such as programmable logic controllers & safety-rated logic solvers. Troubleshoots instrument problems for Operations & Maintenance.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in Electrical Engineering required.
* Overall GPA of 3.2 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.
* Obtained at least 60 credit hours by the start of co-op required.
* Living within commuting distance of the Valero Port Arthur Refinery required.
* Graduation dates of May 2026 through May 2028 required.
* Ability to work 40 hours per week required.
