JCB Inc. Sales Development Representative in Pooler, Georgia

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Sales Systems and Support Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions to educate new dealers on our sales systems, tools, and processes. This includes training on Salesforce management, lead tracking, and other software relevant to sales operations.
  • First Resource for Sales Process and Systems Queries: Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related questions and system support for new dealers. Respond promptly and provide effective solutions to inquiries.
  • Generating Business Opportunities: Collaborate with new dealers to devise strategies for lead generation and sales pipeline development. Work together to identify and seize business opportunities in the market.
  • Prospecting New Customers: Utilize the Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) and other resources to identify potential customers. Collaborate with the dealer network to develop targeted prospecting strategies and expand the customer base.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert on JCB's agricultural equipment and stay up-to-date with industry trends. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our product line to effectively communicate the value and benefits to potential customers.
  • Salesman Ride Along: Accompany sales representatives from new dealers on sales calls to provide guidance and support. Help develop their sales skills and ensure they have the necessary tools to close deals successfully.
  • Cold Call Training: Train new dealers' sales teams on effective cold-calling techniques to generate leads and opportunities. Provide guidance on communication strategies and objection handling.
  • Creating Training Materials: Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and videos, to support ongoing sales training initiatives.
  • Financing Machines: Familiarize new dealers with various financing options available to customers. Help sales teams understand the financing process and its importance in closing deals.
  • Assist in product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events to showcase JCB agricultural equipment and promote appositive brand image.

Nature and Scope

Reports to Distribution Growth Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural equipment industry.
