JCB Inc. Regional Business Manager - Central in Pooler, Georgia

Position Summary

To grow JCBs North American market share and dealer network in the agriculture sector by building and developing the necessary foundations for long term business success and profitability. Focus of responsibility will be based on region.

The territory for this role includes: Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, and the western panhandle of Texas

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Build the JCB business strategy for sales to the agriculture sector
  • Take a leadership role in the development of the JCB dealer base
  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Identify, build and develop strategic and profitable dealer networks
  • Forecast, track and report sales activities to leadership
  • Continually identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability
  • Understand the key performance indicators that leverage our dealers business
  • Review dealer target market opportunities and provide feeds into our dealer pipeline
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of JCB products and competitor products to facilitate sales efforts that affect target markets

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have established contacts and relevant experience within the agriculture industry
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 + years outside sales experience in the industry
  • BA in Business/Agri Business or similar

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and business development
  • Proven success in analyzing and forecasting trends
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to build and lead an effective team
  • Solid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening
  • Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
  • Ability to motivate others and drive for results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%

Job Conditions:

  • Field, office and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
  • Subject to noise and temperature changes
