ManpowerGroup Test Engineer in Pontiac, Michigan

Our client, a leading innovator in the Automotive Industry, is seeking a talented Test Engineer to join their Test Automation and Calibration development group. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing tests in a world-class facility, playing a key role in bringing next-generation vehicles to life.

Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Pontiac, MI

Pay Range: $40-43/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Plan, develop, and perform subsystem-level tests for engines and calibrations.

  • Analyze data, develop calibrations, and identify opportunities for data reduction.

  • Lead the migration of lab-based activities to math-based models.

  • Collaborate effectively across teams to improve current tests and develop new ones.

  • Track and report on testing progress and identify and resolve issues.

  • Develop and implement standard test procedures globally.

  • Train and mentor junior engineers.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (preferred).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive engineering with engine knowledge.

  • Experience with AVL PUMA/IndiCom/CAMEO and ETAS INCA software.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with data acquisition systems and data analysis.
