Base Pay: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour, plus eligible shift premiums

    The ideal Milieu Specialist aims to calm an oftentimes chaotic situation. Your spidey senses are always on 100 and you react swiftly with a supportive and empathetic approach. In times of uncertainty, you seek to understand and are not afraid to ask questions. You’re comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment, while accompanying the needs of your team. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are key, and you thrive in these areas. You are also able to manage evolving needs with ease.

    Day In the Life

  • Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere

  • Create and maintain a safe environment for individuals experiencing a crisis

  • Monitor daily activities of individuals served, provide emotional support, and intervene to deescalate situations

  • Actively engage with your team, other departments, and individuals served

  • Provide recovery coaching to people that result in diverting them from in-patient hospitalization

  • Provide accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record

    What You Need to Apply

  • High school diploma or GED; Associates degree or higher, preferred

  • Minimum 1-year experience providing services to persons with serious mental illness

  • Valid driver's license
