- Servesahelper/caregivertoaccommodatethecomfort/needsoftheassignedstudent.Thismayincludefeeding,toileting,lifting,etc.
- Worksincollaborationwiththestudentsteacherstoprovideaneffectiveclassroomlearningenvironmentforthestudent
- Assistsininstructionalpreparation/supportwithotherstudentsasneeded
- Providesindividualizedinstruction/directionstothestudents
- Demonstratesvariousinstructionalactivitiestoassistthestudentscomprehensionandabilitytoaccessthecurriculum
- Keepsstudentontask
- Praisesandreinforcesachievementofthestudent
- AssistsindatacollectionandreportsstudentprogresstoteacherAssistswithmanagementofstudentbehavior
